If managed properly, renewable resources are those which can be used to supply our demand at a sustainable rate – so that those that are consumed are replaced, and we can carry on using them for years to come without running out.
Our cartons are made of around 73% wood fibre in the form of paperboard – a natural, renewable resource – and we work hard to make sure that the paperboard we use comes from well-managed forests. Over 1.5 billion of our cartons in the UK & Ireland can now carry the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) label, so you can be assured this is the case.

The impact of using renewable resources is far reaching. In our benefits section, for example, you can see how good forest management makes for a healthy planet, greater biodiversity and also helps local communities.
Check out our partners section to learn how we work closely with our suppliers, factories and even our customers to ensure we use resources in an environmentally-responsible manner.
